Joe Biden is a puppet. And the problem with electing a puppet is that someone is always pulling the strings.

When Joe Biden was sold to the American people, he was packaged as a unifying moderate to reassure the suburbs and as a left-wing champion to placate the bicoastal city elites. It was a tightrope walk from one teleprompter to the next – with an in-kind contribution from the mainstream media, who never bothered to fully vet Biden like all other previous presidential nominees. In front of one audience, Biden would tout his working-class roots and his desire to bring the country together, at another he would talk about healthcare for illegal immigrants and Green New Deal extremism.

The DNC’s Faustian bargain was that they could win the presidency by creating a coalition of the willing between the aging liberal establishment and the increasingly powerful and ever-dangerous radical wing of the Democrat Party. It paid off – the powerbrokers on the left successfully turned Joe Biden into a Rorschach test where both moderates and socialists could see in Biden whatever they wanted him to be, all while the biased liberal media hyperventilated over President Trump’s Twitter feed.

Right from the start, the progressives pulled President Biden’s strings to sign irresponsible Executive Orders that opened the floodgates at our southern border and jeopardized our energy security and independence by canceling the Keystone XL pipeline. The Democrat establishment then reined the new president in by securing top cabinet positions for members of the revolving door class like swamp creatures Antony Blinken and Janet Yellen.

In March, senior Chinese officials embarrassed Secretary of State Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on the world stage by using the same divisive rhetoric that Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris made use of on the campaign trail. By echoing the phony critical race theory that America is a fundamentally racist country, the Chinese pulled a string to shame the Biden Administration into submission to avoid facing any consequences for their global aggression. In effect, Biden’s own words allowed the CCP to lecture the United States about human rights abuses! Fast forward to May, and we learn that China is seeking to establish a strategic port on the Atlantic Ocean in Africa, threatening the Western Hemisphere in an unprecedented fashion. And with Biden in the White House, why wouldn’t they? It’s no secret that China has influence over this president – thanks to his family’s business deals in Beijing.

Domestically, the Democrat machine and deep pocketed political contributors have pulled Biden’s strings for decades. It was recently discovered that the American Federation of Teachers successfully lobbied the CDC to include specific language in the agency’s school reopening guidance – essentially ignoring the science for purely political purposes. The cozy relationship with Biden and his team makes life easy for this powerful union – to the detriment of our children’s education.

Perhaps the most tragic example of the dangers of electing a weak puppet was what unfolded recently in the Middle East, as Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israel, forcing the Israelis to defend themselves. Under President Donald Trump, we were strengthening the region by securing peace deals and increased cooperation between nations that even a few years ago refused to sit down with one another. With Trump, there was no doubt which side he would come down on or what he would say about such a conflict in crystal clear terms. Hamas knows that Biden is no such iron clad pillar of strength. To the contrary, Hamas calculated that they could resume their terrorism against Israel virtually unopposed because of the current leadership vacuum in the Oval Office.

The tug of war over President Biden’s foreign policy agenda has intensified as far left radicals, led by Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib, are labeling Israel an apartheid state while the old Democrat guard tries to uphold our commitment to America’s strongest ally in the region. This intra-party struggle delayed Biden’s response to the growing conflict and left Israel wondering about our support. Laughably, Press Secretary Jen Psaki described the lack of action as “quiet, intensive diplomacy.” The bottom line is that Biden’s decision to publicly meet with Rep. Tlaib on the tarmac in Michigan last week and praise her as a “fighter” is a disgrace.

Without strong and uncompromised leadership at the top, our government can’t make sound decisions or prevent crises from happening. The past few months of gas lines, inflation, border chaos and global turmoil is what happens when a feckless leader is constantly being pulled in all directions. We’re seeing the consequences of Joe Biden’s inept leadership every day and right about now some mean tweets don’t seem so bad after all.
